Project tab (Job costing). What package has this feature? I just upgraded to plus but I don't see the tab? Please advise
It's exciting to hear that QuickBooks Online's Projects feature may be a good fit for job costing for your business! It sounds like you've already done a bit of research about Projects since you've taken the step of upgrading to Plus, and I can help you get set up from here.
The Projects feature is available in QuickBooks Online Plus and Accountant accounts. Since you're already on the Plus plan, you'll have access to that feature. Typically, it's available by default, but since you upgraded from a lower plan which wouldn't have had this option, you may need to take the extra step of turning the feature on first. It's just a few quick steps.
Select the Gear icon.
Choose Account and settings.
Go to the Advanced tab.
Look for and click the Projects section.
Toggle it to On.
Once you've done that and clicked Done to exit the settings, you should see Projects in the left menu. Give that a shot and let me know how it goes.
