Can I have 2 accounts linked to deposits from Credit cards payments (different currencies)?

Hello cmaassen,

It sounds like you've got your eye on QuickBooks Payments, which is an awesome add-on to QuickBooks Online to accept payments from your customers via credit card. You have a great question and I'd be happy to let you know more about the setup for QuickBooks Payments when it comes to where the funds are deposited.

QuickBooks Payments Canada works with Canadian currency transactions. This means that it'll work with your customers set up in QuickBooks for Canadian currency transactions when they use Visa, Mastercard, or Discover cards paying in Canadian funds.

That being said, the bank account you're using to accept the deposits from your customers should also be in Canadian currency. At this time, you can only set up one bank account in your Payments settings in QuickBooks Online for the payments to be deposited to. Check out the QuickBooks Online Payments overview article to learn more about this feature.

If you happen to be looking at a third-party service for accepting payments from your customers in other currencies, I recommend contacting the support team for that service provider to learn the options available and how you might be able to set up your account for the deposits. For apps set up through QuickBooks Online's Apps tab, you can see the contact details by navigating to that tab, selecting My Apps, and then clicking the app you're working with. Contact details are in the App information panel on the side of the app's description page.

I hope that helps explain it. Don't hesitate to reach out though if you have more questions. I'm here to make sure you have the information you need moving forward.
