When it comes to making sure customers have the information they need, I know there are many ways that businesses go about it. It sounds like you're looking to do that with the form letter you mention here, and I'd be happy to go over the options for sending letters to your customers using QuickBooks Online.
The program doesn't currently have an option for creating a letter or importing one to send by itself. What you can do, however, is include a letter as an attachment on customer transactions and choose to have it sent along with the transaction when you email it. Each transaction form includes an Attachments section, where you can search your computer or drag and drop to include a document or image. Once you've done that, the check box for including it with the transaction when you email it also appears, and then it gets sent off as an attachment to the email about the sales transaction. If you're hoping to send a letter as a standalone email, I encourage you to use your email provider outside of QuickBooks to do so. If you need a list of your customer emails, I recommend the Customer Contact List through the Reports tab in the left menu. You can copy and paste from that report or export and print as needed.
