Entering a new employee and QB online will not let me answer yes or no to prior pay details. Employee shows up in employee list but not on timesheet list???

Entering a new employee and QB online will not let me answer yes or no to prior pay details. Employee shows up in employee list but not on timesheet list???

Hi,

 

Managing your employees is an important part of your business operations. The good news is, QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll is a convenient platform that helps you keep track your employees’ wages efficiently. I'll be happy to help with the new employee setup.

 

Regarding the prior pay details, did you already run payroll for your current employees? If so, the system will stop asking you to provide this info when setting up new employees. If you didn't run payroll yet, I suggest clearing your browser's cache and temporary Internet files. You can do so by following the steps in this article. This process can fix most websites loading and display issues.

 

When you set up new employees, it might take up to 24 hours for them to appear on the timesheet page. Once the system is up to date, the timesheet list will be synchronized with the employees list.
