Can i record a partial payment for payroll deductions?

Hi there, 

 

Payroll is a necessary part of running any business with employees. QuickBooks Online makes it easy for you to get your employees paid, and set up the right deductions and contributions.

 

Recording your payroll taxes is made simple in QuickBooks Online. All you have to do is click the Taxes tab on the left navigation menu, then select Payroll Tax on the top of the page. Once there, click Pay Taxes, and then you'll see the installment amount. 

 

As you'll see once you reach this page, you're unable to edit the filing amount. You'll have to record the payment in a lump sum by clicking Record Payment. 

 

I can appreciate that you'd like to record multiple payments for your payroll deductions. This sounds like it would be a really helpful tool which would make the process more flexible. I'd be happy to pass along your feedback to my product development team for review.
