How do I get 2020 information ?

Hello sgtwoof2020,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! I know how important it is to make sure you have your business data for the year so that you can take care of filing taxes and just so you have it for your records. It sounds to me like you're looking to download or export your 2020 information from QuickBooks Self-Employed, and I'd be happy to help with this.

Working with QuickBooks Self-Employed is designed for simplicity, and that simplistic nature also applies to how you can retrieve your 2020 data. There are a few ways to do so, including reports or exporting from the Transactions page. I'll go over both of these with you.

The Reports tab in QuickBooks Self-Employed has a few reports you can work with for your taxes, mileage, receipts, and the Profit and Loss report. In the Reports section, you can view reports, download, export, print, and even email them to yourself. First, select the time period you need and then use either the button to the left or the downward arrow to make your select.

If you're looking to get the transaction data from the Transactions tab, simply navigate to that section and then click the export icon above the transaction list on the right. This'll download an Excel file with the transaction data for you. Once again, you can change the filters to choose the time period and other details before exporting.

I hope this has been helpful. If what I've gone over isn't quite what you're looking for, let me know! I want to make sure you have the information you're looking for with your books.
