Bill Stub Company Address

Hi there,

I'm using Quickbooks Enterprise 2019 and noticed when I print Bill Payment Stubs to send to vendors, the street address line appears after the city address line.  This wouldn't normally be a big deal, but there is a typo in the street address. (This is the address in the top left for my employer, not the vendor address).

I looked at Company Info to try and fix, and I see there are two separate Address inputs: Contact Info and Legal Info. Right now the Contact Info address just has the City line and no street address (in one multi-line input box), and the Legal Info address has both, but no typo (each component in a separate input box).  If I try to add the street address line to the Contact Info, then the bill stub shows street address line (no typo), then City line, then street address line (with typo).

I can't figure out where the address line with the typo is coming from, can anyone help?

Thank you!

Bill Stub Company Address

Hello amt47,

Keeping the most up-to-date company information on file is good practice. Sometimes typos occur when entering data, but luckily QuickBooks Desktop makes it easy to correct these errors. Navigating to your Company info within the product was an awesome first step. I want to point you in the direction of another spot you can go to update the address for your business so you can eliminate the typo.

The Customer Account Maintenance Portal (CAMPs) is your one-stop-shop for managing your QuickBooks Desktop account. Using the steps in the link below, access CAMPs to update your mailing address:

If after updating your address using CAMPs there's still a typo in the street address on the Bill Payment Stub, there may be data damage to your company file. Please follow the steps in the article below in order to fix the minor issue you've encountered:

The article above also includes a link to contact support. If you're still unable to resolve the issue that's the next step in this troubleshooting process. Check out our software support policies for more information.

I'm confident these steps will have you back to doing what you love in no time!
