In QBO, how to record supplier refund directly to a bank account or credit card ?

Does QBO have a function to record supplier refunds directly to bank accounts or credit cards? and a function to record supplier cash refunds? Currently, it seems that QBO only has the functionality for "Supplier Credit," but sometimes suppliers refund directly to bank accounts or credit cards , not issue a credit memo.

Hi there JANECCC1,

it's important that all your transactions are entered correctly for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of sales and expenses so you can see the profit of your company. I can point you in the right direction to enter supplier refunds.

In order to enter supplier refunds, I recommend using the steps outlined in this article. There are steps for different ways the supplier has refunded you so that you can enter it correctly for each type of refund.
