It's awesome to hear that you're using QuickBooks Self-Employed to help manage your business's books. Whether you're using a browser or the app, having access to the program is a key part of completing your bookkeeping. I want to make sure you're able to take advantage of the on-the-go capabilities of the app.
My first suggestion is to make sure that you've downloaded the correct app. Both QuickBooks Self-Employed and QuickBooks Online have mobile app versions of the program, and since they use the same logo, I know it can sometimes be confusing to know which one to use. In your case, you'll want the one that says QuickBooks Self-Employed in the app name.
If your'e certain you're using the correct mobile app, I recommend logging into a browser by going to qbo.ca, clicking Sign In, and choosing QuickBooks Self-Employed. Use the same login credentials you signed up with, then follow the steps in the following article to reach support: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support. Using the QB Assistant feature, you can type "Talk to human," then follow the prompts to reach an agent who can troubleshoot with you more.
