It's awesome that you're able to help your client with these kinds of details. Not to worry, changing the fiscal year set up in a QuickBooks Online account is easy. Just follow these steps in your client's account.
- Select the Gear icon in the upper right of your account.
- Choose Account and Settings.
- Go to the Advanced tab.
- Click the Accounting section or select the small pencil icon beside this section to edit it.
- Select the First month of fiscal year from the drop-down menu.
- Click Save.
