If I right click, I see a window open but when I click on it, nothing happens. thus I can see its open, but I can't get it to show on my screen. its like it thinks there is another screen connected. but I check in my control panel and it shows only one screen is connected.

No worries, I'll help get to the bottom of this. Have you tried uninstalling the program and installing it again? Usually, when you do this it fixes most issues the desktop app may be having. Try this and let me know what happens.
