How do I access receipts that I have scanned on my phone but they are stuck in the processing phase?

How do I access receipts that I have scanned on my phone but they are stuck in the processing phase?

Hello there, @notclydesboutique. Please note that scanned receipts will show on the Receipts page after they are successfully posted.


However, in your case, I recommend clearing the app’s data to refresh its system and remove any outdated files, causing the receipts not to be saved.


For Android:

 

  1. Open Settings and go to Apps or Apps & notifications.
  2. Locate QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  3. Tick Storage or Storage & Cache, then choose Clear Data (or Clear Storage).
  4. Confirm the action when prompted.

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Open Settings and go to General.
  2. Select iPhone Storage and find the QBO app.
  3. Tap the Offload App to free up space without losing your data.

 

Once done, try snapping and saving your receipts again. If the issue persists, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app to ensure you're using the latest version.

 

Alternatively, you can take a photo of the receipt and upload it manually through the web.
