How do I add a Sales order to my invoice?

Currently, the ability to add Sales Order to invoice is not available in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Canada. I understand how this limitation impact you workflow, and I'd like to offer an alternative solution.

In the meantime, I recommend creating an estimate and converting it into an invoice. Estimates serve as a pre-sales documents and can include the same details as a Sales Order. Here's how:

1. Select +New, then click Estimate.
2. Use the dropdown option to add a customer.
3. In the Product and Service field, use the dropdown menu to add the relevant products or services to the estimate.
4. Once completed, select Save.

After creating the estimate, follow these steps to convert it to an invoice:

1. Go to Sales, and select All Sales.
2. Locate the estimate you'd like to convert into an invoice.
3. Click the dropdown arrow, then select Convert to Invoice.
   
   Once converted, the status of the estimate will change from Pending to Closed.
