How to accrue vacation hours by certain work hours, not all?

Dear community,

We have many kinds of pay rates for our field crew members. Many types of pay rate already pay out vacation time. Only two types of work hours, regular hourly and holiday hourly, qualify for vacation accrual calculation. Is there a way I can set it up? thank you very much!

Thanks for reaching out about vacation for your employees. QuickBooks Desktop Payroll is a great tool able to help you pay your employees for the hours they've worked. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with vacation.

 

To see if it's able to accrue some vacation on certain pay items, and pay out on others, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Desktop support team. They'll be able to assist in setting up your employees to pay the right amount. You can reach them using the methods outlined in the QuickBooks Desktop software support policies.
