Welcome to Community! Having the ability to view the item descriptions on your invoices, is essential to ensure accuracy. QuickBooks Online enables you to make adjustments to your invoice template, in times such as this. I would be glad to assist!
To view the description on your invoices, follow these steps;
1. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Custom form styles
2. Click on Edit for your default form
3. Open the Content tab
4. Select the Edit pencil in the table section
5. Checkmark the box to show the Description
6. Make any other selections, as you feel necessary
7. Hit Done to save your changes.
Note; When the the description is turned off, it will appear when creating an invoice, but won't show in the print/preview screen. When it's turned on, print/preview will show the line descriptions.
