Multiple Logins

I have QuickBooks Self-Employed,

I work away from home and will be giving access to my accountant.

 

Can I create a separate login for my accountant, or do I just give him mine?

Hello Chris53203,

 

It's great to hear that you have an accountant to work with to help balance your books and make sure you have all the right calculations for your business.

 

QuickBooks Self-Employed is a single-user service, meaning that there's only one login available for it. The program doesn't, at this time, have the ability to add other users such as an accountant. In order for your accountant to be able to look at and make any changes to your data, you'll have to give them your login credentials.

 

If you're looking for a version of the program where you can connect with an accountant by adding them as another user, I recommend considering QuickBooks Online. I'll share a couple of links below to help you decide if you want to stay with Self-Employed or switch products.
