My program is not what I set it up. I want it to go back to the format it was. Help!

Just want to do an invoice but my usual set up is gone. I never consented to any changes. How do I get my old set up back?

Hi, @aggaproducts.

 

I understand how frustrating it can be to adjust when something changes unexpectedly, especially if you’ve grown comfortable with your previous QuickBooks Online (QBO) setup. I’d like to assure you that I’m here to help and support you as you navigate this.

 

To provide clarity, updates to QBO are part of its ongoing enhancements to create a more unified platform for accounting, marketing, and taxes. These changes are implemented platform-wide to ensure consistent functionality and workflows for all users, and they don’t require individual consent as they’re covered within the product’s terms and conditions.

 

Unfortunately, switching back to the older format is no longer an option, as all accounts have been transitioned to the new setup. I know adjusting to this updated interface can take time, but I’d like to assure you that the core functions, features, and tools, including invoices, remain available and intact. 

 

To access your invoices, you can do so in the following ways:

 

  • Using the Create Icon:
    1. Click the Create (+) icon in the top left corner.
    2. Select Invoice to create a new invoice directly.
  • Accessing through Sales:
    1. Go to My Apps in the left navigation menu.
    2. Select Sales & Get Paid, then choose Invoices to view or create invoices.
