QB Self Employed Mobile App Android

Currently on QB SE trial and unable to download the mobile app on Samsung S9. It shows the device is compatible but the Install button is greyd out (see attached). Please advise.

I appreciate the screenshot of what you're seeing when trying to install the QuickBooks Self-Employed app. It's a great tool for many self-employed entrepreneurs who want to keep track of their invoicing and expenses, and includes other features such as tracking mileage. I'll do what I can to help you get set up with the app on your device.

 

QuickBooks Self-Employed's mobile app is geared for on-the-go work on phones and tablets. Since your screen is showing that your device is compatible, I imagine you're using one of those two devices already. I have a few suggestions for you.

 

I see that you're currently trying to install the app through a browser, so my first suggestion to you is to exit out of the browser and go to the Google Play Store app on your mobile device. It should have the same logo as you're seeing in the upper left of the browser page. It may be a simple matter of the app not being able to install from the browser to the mobile device.

 

The next troubleshooting step I have is to turn your device off and then turn it back on again. Sometimes a reboot can get things in working order. You should also make sure you have a enough space on your device to download the app.

 

Finally, I recommend reaching out to Google or Android support for further assistance. Since this has to do with installing the app, they're the ones who'll be able to help you installing the Android app on your device.
