How to create an invoice template for recurring transactions? The client has no "recurring transactions" in gear icon.

Hello shiela-mromerocp,

 

It's a pleasure to see you in Community.  Welcome!  It's great to hear that you're interested in the Recurring Transactions feature in QuickBooks Online.  Recurring templates enables you to create templates for any transaction, except bill payments, customer payments, and time activities.  In addition, you can automate credit card payments with recurring sales receipts.

 

When you don't see the option in your company settings, it would indicate that your current QuickBooks product, doesn't support this feature.  Recurring transactions is available in QuickBooks Online Essentials, Plus, and Advanced.  Follow this link, if you would like to upgrade your subscription, and get started with creating recurring templates.
