QuickBooks Online has multiple ways of importing transactions. One of these options is to import an Excel file, but this is currently limited to deposits and cheques.
I recommend using a third-party tool to assist with importing the journal entries. You can search for the apps using this link here. I recommend picking an app which suits your business needs.
I can see how additional options for importing transactions, such as journal entries, would be beneficial to you and others. QuickBooks Online is constantly evolving and adding features based largely on the suggestions of users, like yourself.
