Customer Type Detailed Reports in QBO - Custom Reports

Hey Everyone,

Using QBO and just started using the Customer Type field.

I'd like to run detailed sales reports to include P&L, Profit % etc. I've searched every report type and few even have the option to search anything by Customer Type.

I did some online research and it mentioned to choose Custom Reports which I cannot find located on QBO. The video I watched was for Desktop edition. I called QBO C/S and they could not help either.

Any advice or workarounds would be awesome.

Customizing your reports is a great way to get all the information you're looking for at a glance. I'd be happy to help go over customizing reports by Customer type.

While every report is customizable not every report has the same customize options. While customer type is available in reports like Sales by Customer Detail Report, the Profit and Loss reports don't have that option. If you wish to be able to customize these reports by customer type I recommend sending feedback to our development team by following these steps:

Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

Once they receive your feedback they'll look into ways to possibly add this in future updates.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I'd really appreciate your help to try and create some specific reports. I know what data I need. Unfortunately at the time being I have to run 4+ reports to get that info.
