Hey there love-altair,

Thanks for reaching out about this. I can appreciate how having one cohesive language in your QuickBooks Online software would be ideal. That way, you can be sure that everyone is on the same page when they're reading things like reports.

In QuickBooks Online's Canadian version, you can choose between two language settings: English and French. When you choose one or the other, the entire program will display in that language, except for features that may have been configured in the other language. For instance, if you started you program in English, turned on a feature like taxes, and then switched to French, the taxes will still display in English even though your switched the language. The language is changed by going to the Gear icon, Account and settings, and then the Advanced tab. Scroll down to the Language section to make the change.

At this time, there isn't a Chinese language setting in the Canadian version of the program, but I have a couple of ideas of what might be going on. To start, if you named certain accounts in the chart of accounts or you named products or services in Chinese, the program will keep them in Chinese as that information was manually input. To change them, simply visit the Chart of Accounts or Products and Services area, select the down arrow beside the account or item and choose Edit.

My second idea is that you may have a language filter on your browser to translate the information on the page into the language you'd like. If that's the case, I recommend going into your browser settings to turn it off. That should get things back in order.

If what you're referring to are not reports but rather multi-lingual invoices, like Fiat Lux suggests, check out the article they linked. The important thing to keep in mind about multi-lingual invoices is that while they translate a lot of the form, it's not a complete translation of everything. Those manually named accounts and items that I mentioned previously would also not translate here.

Give those things a try and let me know if you have further difficulties. I'm here to help.
