T5018 do not have the supplier's BN on the CRA copy

Hello JDee,

Welcome to Community!  Missing business numbers on the associated T5018 forms is concerning.  QuickBooks Online provides the forms for easy submission to the CRA.  I would be glad to assist!

The CRA has passed a new policy this year, indicating that our form should no longer show the Business ID or SIN numbers.  Although this prevents customers from viewing these numbers within their QuickBooks product when the forms are downloaded, once they're uploaded, the information is visible to the CRA.

However, it's important to ensure your suppliers are setup accurately, so QuickBooks can track eligible payments made to them.  I suggest reviewing your supplier profiles to ensure their business number has been entered.  Here's how;

1. From the left menu, open Expenses and select Suppliers

2. Select the supplier's name, then Edit

3. Choose the Supplier Type (Individual or Business)

4. Enter the Business ID number or Social Insurance Number

5. Hit Save.

Should you require additional assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Care team outside of Community.  They would be happy to work with you directly, and ensure you're able to accomplish your QuickBooks goals seamlessly!

Feel free to reach back out, if you have any other questions.  We would be glad to assist!
