How to get the P&L report for each transaction?

Hi Hohenry,

I'll be hapy to share some information about running a Profit and Loss report in QuickBooks Online.

The Profit and Loss (P&L) report summarizes your income and expenses for the year, so you can tell whether you're operating at a profit or loss. It also indicates how the revenues are transformed into the net income. Here are the steps which show you how to run the report:

  1. On the QuickBooks dashboard, click Reports on the left sidebar menu.
  2. Once you click Reports, you will see a list of Favorited Reports at the top. QuickBooks automatically defaults the Profit and Loss Report as one of your Favorited Reports, so you don’t need to go looking around for it.
  3. Click the report labeled Profit & Loss and you’re there.

For  more info on how to customize reports in QBO, I recommend checking this helpful article: Customize your reports in QuickBooks Online. Let me know if you have other questions. I'm here to help.
