How do i remove the tax summary from the invoices

Hi debbiescleanings,

 

I'm glad to learn you're using QuickBooks to get ahead with your work. QuickBooks is designed to help reduce the amount of stress involved in the accounting side of your business. I'd be happy to share more information so you can continue doing what you enjoy. 

 

To remove the tax summary field from your invoice, follow the steps below: 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Click Custom form styles.
  3. Select the invoice template you're currently using and click Edit.
  4. Go to the Content tab.
  5. Select the Footer section.
  6. From here, uncheck the Sale tax summary field. 
  7. Hit Done and Save. 

Going forward, your invoices won't have the Sales tax summary. If you'd like to add the summary to your invoices, follow the above steps and make sure you hit Save after.
