How to add account summary fields to custom invoices

Is it possible to add an account summary to a custom invoice in QBO?  It looks possible but I always get this error message.

How to add account summary fields to custom invoices

Hi there,

 

QuickBooks is great when it comes to adding custom invoices which make your business stand out. I know how time-consuming it can be to deal with error messages and I'll be glad to help with that. 

 

First, you'd have to investigate if the custom file you're uploading meets the criteria in this article here. The article also goes over steps on how you can map your custom invoices so they can seamlessly uploaded. When uploading file types, make sure to avoid the following files as they'll produce error messages:

  • Audio
  • ClipArt, Word Art
  • Animated GIFS
  • Embedded files
  • Adding or updating hidden links or merging fields
  • Files over 2MB
  • Non-.docx file types or older MS Word documents renamed as .docx files
