I have an old voided invoice that gets automatically re-posted by "System Administrator". Its seems like Quickbooks is doing it automatically. Any idea why?

The voided invoice is 2 years old and gets reposted as an open invoice by the system at the 1st of the month.

Hi KingTours,

I notice you've been with us for a long time now. I appreciate your loyalty. Rest assured, I'll be happy to get to the bottom of this ASAP.

QuickBooks is designed to help save you time so you can spend time doing what you enjoy. Based on what you've described, it sounds like you may have a recurring template. If so, recurring templates will only create transactions automatically when the type is set to Scheduled and the template has not reached its End Date or Maximum Occurrences. To check this, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙.
  2. Under Lists, select Recurring Transactions.
  3. Find the template for the transaction that was not created and in the Action column, select Edit.
  4. Make sure the Type is set to Scheduled and End is set to the appropriate end date/number of occurrences.
  5. Select Save template.

For more info on recurring templates, check out this helpful article here. Give this a try and in case you have other questions, feel free to contact our support team using this link here.
