Once ive entered the sales invoice how can I adjust it?
Entering and editing invoices in QuickBooks Online is very simple. You can make adjustments after creating an invoice, however make sure to send your customers a revised copy, as this document is a binding agreement between you and a client. I'll explain how to edit an invoice.
As long as you haven't recorded a payment towards the invoice yet, you're able to edit it simply and easily. All you have to do is click the Sales tab on the left navigation menu, then select Invoices at the top. Click to open the invoice you'd like to edit.
This will open the invoice creation screen. Simply make the changes, then click Save and Close, or Save and Send.
If you have recorded a payment towards the invoice and you need to make edits, you'll have to first delete the payment. To do that, open the invoice, then click the link that says "1 payment made". Open the payment, then click More at the bottom of the page and click Delete.
