Why don't have a "custom fields" category in invoice templates?

I'm on Quickbooks online Canada...do I need to upgrade to get these field options? All advice on the net shows these options, but I can't see any category options for "descriptions" on my invoice templates

QuickBooks Online offers the option to customize sales forms templates on every plan. With the Essential or Plus version, you can add custom fields on templates. To learn more about that, check-out the article: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online

If you're trying to customize your sales forms on an EasyStart Plan, it might be the reason why you're unable to add a custom field on your template. The default invoice template comes with a description field for every plan. If you're not seeing that field in your account, it could be an issue with your browser. To ensure your browser or app is running the program as designed, I recommend following the troubleshooting steps in the article: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?
