Why the system can't find the existing estimate if it's 2 years old? Where does it really search for it?

Why the system can't find the existing estimate if it's 2 years old? Where does it really search for it?

Hi there,

I appreciate you reaching out in the Community. I'll be happy to show you an easier way to search/view your estimates.

QuickBooks Online makes it easy to find a list of all your estimates. You can do this by running a report called Estimates by Customer. Here are the steps which show you how to run that report:

  1.     Go to Reports.
  2.     In the search box, enter Estimates by Customer.
  3.     Edit the date range and grouping and select Run Report.
  4.     When you locate the estimate in question, see if the customer's name is the same as the one you were choosing when trying to create an invoice.
  5.     If the estimate in question does not show under the correct customer name, select it and change the customer name.
  6.     Select Save.

For more info on how to set up and use estimates, check out this helpful article: Set up and use estimates. In case you have questions, don't hesitate to reach back. I'll be one message away. :)
