If you've already downloaded the QuickBooks Online App, you can follow these steps to to snap a photo of your receipts:
- Open the QuickBooks Online mobile app.
- Select the Menu ≡ icon.
- Select Receipt snap.
- Select the Camera icon and snap a photo of your receipt or bill.
- Select Use this photo, then Done.
However, if you're unable to locate the "Receipt snap" option I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps, as sometimes browsing data accumulates and prevents the software from doing what it is supposed to do. Here's a few things you can try:
1. In the app, try to reset data by selecting “Menu” ☰ and tap Help & Feedback. Tap Refresh Data.
2. Restart or try another device
3. You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the QuickBooks Online app.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, I suggest reaching out to the support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to investigate further into why this might be happening. You can reach them by following these steps:
