I have QuickBooks self-employed the mobile app and it will not let me save or send an invoice, the buttons are greyed out any ideas?

Hello matt-racer,

 

It's awesome that you're using the QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app. I know how its versatility helps with on-the-go work and keeps you up to date with your books. It's important to me that you're able to continue using this service, and I'm here to help you get back on track with saving and sending invoices from the app.

 

The first troubleshooting step I have for you is to uninstall and reinstall the app. Don't worry, you won't lose the data you've entered in your books by doing this. All of that is stored in the cloud and accessed using your login credentials. So long as you have those, you'll be able to log back in and see your data no problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app helps us make sure that the app's cache is clear of temporary files that might cause things like  buttons aren't working as they should.

 

If that doesn't work, the next step is to get in touch with the QuickBooks Self-Employed team outside of community. Those agents are able to gather more details from you and do more in-depth troubleshooting to get things working again. Follow these steps when logged into QuickBooks Self-Employed.

  1. Click the Assistant feature,
  2. Type and enter "talk to human."
  3. Follow the prompts to connect with an agent.
