Hi there,
Customizing your invoice templates allows you to get creative in your business branding. That's why QuickBooks Online lets you change the formatting and style of sales forms.
When dealing with the actual content of the form itself, such as the terms, this will remain in standard formatting. At this time, there's no way to make the text here bold. I think this is an interesting suggestion, so I'd be happy to pass along your feedback to my team. Our software development team is always looking for ways to improve our products.
In the meantime, you can take a look at this article about how to import custom form styles for invoices or estimates: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Help-Articles/Import-custom-form-styles-for-invoices-or-esti....
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Have a great day!
We are wanting to bold text in the description column of an invoice as well. I assume that this isn't possible?
If not can this please be added to the feature requests list.
Thanks
Hi Toph. The feature you've requested hasn't been implemented yet. I'll make sure to pass your feedback to our developers. In case you have other questions, feel free to contact our support team using this link here.
I also would like the ability to make certain parts of the invoice bold. Specifically, it would be nice to bold or highlight (with background color, just like a manual highlighter) or change the color of the text to draw attention to the discount near the bottom of the invoice to highlight to customers the money they are saving due to the discount we are giving them.
Thank you.
Hi there. Thanks for reaching out with the great suggestions. I'd encourage you to send feedback about this to our engineers by clicking the Gear icon and looking for Feedback. I think that would be a very useful feature - being able to bold and/or underline random text within the description on any form.
It should be a basic feature!!!!
3 Years later - get the bold and let us change text styles and bullet etc... No excuse why this hasn't been updated
