Importing Invoices - Shipping addresses and Shipping charges, Bundles

The base import functionality of QBO has pretty limited columns. How do you import shipping addresses and shipping charges?

And, is there a way to import bundles, or must we import the underlying products?

Thanks.

Importing Invoices - Shipping addresses and Shipping charges, Bundles

Hi ReeseS,

Welcome to Community!  Importing data in QuickBooks Online can be a great time saver, so you can get back to what you enjoy most.  I'd be glad to provide more information!

Before importing your date, it's best to review the sample spreadsheet.  The information wo successfully upload your data will need to match the sample file exactly, for a smooth transition.  Any additional information, will need to be entered manually after the data has been successfully imported.

Here's how to download the sample file;

1. Open Settings ⚙ and select Import Data

2. Select the tile for Invoices

3. Click on Download an example

Here's a helpful guide for your reference.

If you'd like to see additional information added to the import spreadsheet, please feel free to submit a suggestion to our Development Team.  Customer recommendations for future updates and feature improvements are greatly appreciated and assist with improving your overall customer experience with QuickBooks Online.

Please don't hesitate to reach back out with other questions.  We're always happy to help!

Thanks for the response, but I would have preferred a simple "no, there's no place to put Shipping addresses and Shipping charges at present in the existing download templates".

Thanks for the direction to send suggested changes.

Importing Invoices - Shipping addresses and Shipping charges, Bundles

Hi @ReeseS

If you are still looking for a solution to import invoices into QuickBooks Online and including the Shipping Address fields, Shipping Charges and Bundle items and QuickBooks Online is not able to provide that then you could look at a third party app called Zed Axis that you can find in the Apps store.

It is able to import into more fields, more transaction types and with more powerful features.  There is a free trial version so you can test out with your own data.

Hope that helps.
