1. Ability to include current period in recurring invoices.
You have to manually enter the service date on every recurring invoice if the customer desires it, so it can be a nuisance and defeats the purpose of recurring invoices in that sense. This would be very helpful and save time and confusion.
2. Ability to create a payment link from selected invoices
Create a payment link with the invoice number(s) and the total of all selected invoices
This would be great, thanks. Also I tried to submit feedback within QBO a few times and it doesn't do anything.

Consider having a 3rd party app to do so.
Hi rgoldman,
Thanks for reaching out here. I can see how you'd benefit from having the options for recurring invoices and the ability to have a link for payment QuickBooks Online Payments is a great feature that allows your customers to pay directly from their invoices. I'd be happy to provide more information!
As you're already aware, the option to include a service period currently isn't available. Providing a suggestion to our Development Team would be the best route for feature updates. With regards to payment options, your customers will see a 'Pay Now' option on the invoice you send. Follow this link to learn more about accepting customer payments for online invoices.
Please don't hesitate to reach back out with any other questions. We'd be glad to assist!
I agree.
It is legally mandated in my industry that we provide invoice dates AND service dates.
This leads me to having to enter hundreds of service dates manually daily.
Very frustrating and I am not sure why they have not changed this. All you would have to do from a programming perspective is use the same code that auto-populates the invoice field and have it do the same for that invoices service date fields.
