Hello @dan88

To be able to produce a report giving you profitability, each 'job' would have to be either allocated to a Project, or a Class.  That means that all documents (customer invoice, supplier bills, expenses, credit card charges, etc.) pertaining to that job would have to be flagged as one of these Projects or Classes.

If you set up each job as a Project under your customers, then you can run a Profitability Report, customizing the columns to show customer/job's belonging to that employee, within a time frame,   From here, it is a simple matter to export the report to excel, and then apply a simple calculation at the bottom of each job to show the 20% commission calculation.

The other option, setting up each job as a Class, identified with a Job # or name, will enable you to run a P & L by Class report that will capture each class/job within a certain date range.  This would also have to be filtered for only the classes/jobs that belong to that employee.  Again, export to Excel and apply  a formula to the net profit to come up with your 20% of profit commission calculation.

Example (Either report will look similar to this - Project Profitability or P & L by Class)

The Project Profitability report shows a few more columns than I would have wanted to include, (like totalling all the projects for a single customer) so I have deleted those columns, and just left each job column intact.  The line highlighted in yellow is where I've applied the 20% of Net Profit formula.  Ignore the numbers - this is a test file so it's all just bogus transactions.  But you get the idea of how this can be done.

Good luck!
