Recording your sales tax transactions accurately is important for your business. I'll be happy to assist with this. With QuickBooks Online, you can record a refund from the CRA in a few easy steps. Here's how:
- Select Taxes from the left menu
- Select the Sales Tax tab
- Select the filed return you wish to record the refund for
- Select Record refund from the drop-down menu in the ACTION column
- Enter the Refund amount
- If needed, use the Memo field to include anything you want to remember about this payment
- Select Save
- Your refund will be visible under the Payments tab for your reference.
