It's nice to see you in Community. Welcome! Having the option to set up email reminders for your sales tax, is a great feature to ensure you're always on top of your tax obligations. I would be happy to provide some insight here!
Our dedicated and valued QuickBooks Online customers have submitted requests for this feature. We are happy to announce that this is being rolled out to QuickBooks Online Easy Start, QuickBooks Online Essentials and QuickBooks Online Plus customers. We are currently sending out emails announcing this feature.
This new feature will allow you to;
- Set up email reminders to be triggered at your preferred frequency
- Edit reminders
- Turn reminders off if no longer required
- Receive emails on the dates you set, to help stay on top of your filing deadlines
Please note the following;
- You must be a Primary or Company Admin
- Have Sales Taxes set up
- Only ONE set of reminders with up to two email notifications can be set up
- Changes made to a reminder will replace the previously-created reminder
