Hi christchurchlion,

Thanks for reaching out in the Community today! I'd be happy to provide some information on setting up non-profit organizations in QuickBooks Online.

Nonprofit organizations are usually tax-exempt and/or use a different tax form. Here's how to change your tax form and your company type to nonprofit:

  1. Select Settings , then Account and settings.
  2. In Company.
  3. In Company type, select Edit .
  4. Select the Tax form ▼ dropdown, then choose Nonprofit organization.
  5. Select Save, then Done.
  6. Sign out and sign back in to see the changes reflected throughout QuickBooks.

If you need additional help setting up as a non profit organization in QuickBooks Online, I suggest reaching out to an accountant. It's always a good idea to reach out for their expertise and advise for the best course of action.  If you don't have an accountant we can help you locate a ProAdvisor near you.

I hope this helps, if you have any other questions don't hesitate to reply below.
