When you need to unfile a sales tax return, you'll want to print the exceptions. These will become regular transactions for the period they were recorded in. When you're ready, follow these steps to unfile your return;
1. Open Taxes, then Sales tax from the left menu
2. Select the Returns tab
3. Locate the sales tax filing and click on the ▼ dropdown menu in the Action column
4. Choose Undo filing
5. A message will appear asking 'Are you sure you want to go back'?
6. Review the information and select Undo filing
