Tax payment fields not displaying

I have fields in the tax payment forms that I can't see. For some reason, the row/fields are so narrow I am unable to see and choose the tax amount I want to pay. How do I correct the display of these fields?

I can definitely see how fields being too narrow to properly see the information would cause problems when trying to pick tax amounts to pay. It's important to me that this gets sorted out so you can smoothly move forward with these tasks in your QuickBooks Online Accountant account, and I've got some troubleshooting you can try.

 

When there are display issues such as what you describe, there are a few things to try. The first is to see if you're able to manually adjust the display. Typically, QuickBooks Online's columns are adjustable by hovering over the column line, then clicking and dragging to resize the width. Since you're having trouble with the rows rather than the columns, this may not be available, but it's worth a shot.

 

The next thing you can try is increasing the zoom of your browser window. If the zoom is too small or too large, QuickBooks Online can have troubles displaying the information legibly for you. How you adjust the zoom varies by browser. For instance, in Google Chrome, the option is available when you click the three dots to the right of the web address/URL bar, but for other browsers it may be different.

 

Next, here are some additional troubleshooting steps you can try that tackle things like cache, browser type, the application, and your Internet. This assortment of things can impact the QuickBooks cloud and cause strange display errors, so it doesn't hurt to give these a try.

Go through them one at a time, checking back on your QuickBooks afterward to see if there's any improvement. If you reach the end of the list with no change, the final step I suggest is connecting with our support team.
