How to add a barcode for current inventory

QuickBooks Online currently does not support barcode scanning, Info2250. Although you can track inventory and manage items, barcode creation and scanning are not available as built-in features.

Therefore, I recommend submitting a feedback to our product development team so they can consider including barcode scanner functionality in future updates.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon in your software.
2. Select Feedback.
3. Enter a brief description of your product suggestion.
4. Click Next to submit it.
   
   

Since barcode functionality is essential for your business, I suggest using a third-party app and integrate with QuickBooks Online.

Here's how:

1. In the upper right of the screen, click the small My Integration icon
2. Hit +Find Integrations.
3. In the search box, find and select the app that can generate barcodes.
   
4. Click Get Integration Now.
