Copperfin Credit Union transactions not downloading, but the bank balance is updating. Login credentials are correct. Occurring with 2 separate clients. Anyone else?

Hi there.

 

There could be a few reasons why your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO) isn’t downloading transactions or is only updating the bank balance. I’ll walk you through some possibilities.

 

This issue is often related to the bank feed connection and how transactions are transmitted to QBO. Since this is happening for two separate clients with the correct login credentials, it indicates a problem with the QuickBooks-to-bank connection or a temporary issue with Copperfin’s data feed for transactions, even though the balance feed is working properly.

 

You might want to ask your client to check if their bank’s server is down or if the bank is performing scheduled maintenance. Sometimes they post updates or alerts about this on their website.

 

For now, have them perform a manual update of their bank connection in QBO to see if the transactions will download. If the issue persists and you need to get the missing transactions into their books, you can have them manually upload the transactions in QBO.
