Hey guys, I know this has probably been answered a bunch of times but,
How can I delete an unwanted company / login, I have tried the unsubscribing under account management and it removes my entire logins for both companies.
I am trying to remove the "www" login.
Thank you
Hi there TimboF150,
Making sure you only have the accounts you need is important. QuickBooks Online is a great tool to help you manage your bookkeeping from anywhere with an internet connection. I can provide some assistance.
In order to make that company inactive, make sure to log into that company specifically. Once you're within the books for the account you want to make inactive, click on the Gear Icon, then Account and Settings. Select Billing and Subscription, and then click on the button to cancel the subscription. Follow the prompts until you see a green checkmark in the pop-up box. This will cancel only the company you are currently logged into and leave your other company intact. The cancellation process leaves the company inactive until the next scheduled billing date. Once that date has passed, the company will be moved into another section of inactive companies when logging in to separate it from your active company.
If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
Thanks for the reply.
I have deleted and unsubscribed just under 2 years ago, see screenshot attached.
This company still shows up on my login screen,
Any ideas?
Hi TimboF150,
Thanks for including that screenshot. I've removed it since it included your company ID number, which should be kept secure, but with the screenshot, I believe I see what's happened with your account. It sounds to me like you mean to say you still have active QuickBooks Online accounts, but this unwanted account still shows up in your active subscription list, even though it's not active anymore.
I've seen this sort of issue happen before and have also seen these kinds of stuck accounts drop off eventually. You should be able to simply ignore it in your list without it impacting your other accounts. However, it you would like it addressed more quickly, you're welcome to connect with our support team so that we can take a look at how things appear on the back end. It could be that we need to create something called a billing ticket to have our team remove it from our side.
Contacting us using one of the following options will give us the opportunity to securely verify your details and figure out the best way to resolve this situation. Here's how to reach us.
