Hi italianmeatmaste,
Having the ability to update your transactions makes matching and reconciling accounts effortless and keeps your records up to date. QuickBooks Online banking features provide you with the option to update your accounts as you wish. Based on the behavior you've described, it appears to be a possible browser issue. I'd be happy to help!
I suggest logging out of your account and clearing cache on your browser. Open a new private or incognito browser and sign in to your QuickBooks account. If the issue persists, try other browsers such as Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. These are preferred browsers with QuickBooks Online.
Of note, there was a connectivity issue with several Financial Institutions and the connection with QuickBooks Online earlier today, and this has now been resolved.
For your reference, here's how you can manually upload your transactions into QuickBooks Online as necessary.
Let us know if you have any other questions. We'd be glad to assist!
Have you tried opening your QBO account on private/incognito browser?
Thank you for you reply. I saw your post and I tried but nothing..."still updating."
