It sounds to me like you're looking to enter Weekly Timesheet or Single Time Activity data for your employees or vendors while using the QuickBooks Online mobile app. I can appreciate wanting to handle this kind of data when you're not at your computer to make sure that it's entered into your books. QuickBooks Online's mobile app offers a simplified portal to your books, giving you access to some of the basic features like invoicing, expensing, and checking reports like the Profit and Loss or Balance Sheet. That being said, it's not designed to offer the full capabilities of the software, and one of the things not offered in the mobile environment is the option to enter time activity or timesheets.
Rather, you can enter these details via a browser by following the steps in the Enter a weekly timesheet article and Enter a single time activity timesheet respectively. You may be able to use a mobile browser to complete these tasks, but for best results, I recommend working on your computer. On your computer, you could also complete these tasks using the QuickBooks Online app for Windows/Mac.
Something you can consider to fill this gap is an app like TSheets or a third-party provider that does have a mobile option. You can check out TSheets and other apps via the Apps tab in your QuickBooks Online account to see if they meet what you're looking for and are a good fit.
In the event you're an employee of someone using QuickBooks Online and you're looking to enter your hours, this isn't supported in the mobile app either. You can also use a browser to enter these details.
