Don't use the same email address to manage your QBO and QBOA account. Try to change one of them.
Hi userpamsbalancedbook,
I love that you've chosen QuickBooks Online for both your accounting needs as well as those of your clients. Being able to access the one you'd like seamlessly is important, and I'm happy to point you in the right direction to get this sorted out.
Since you're not able to access your QuickBooks Online regular account without going through your QBOA account, it sounds to me like you may have a situation where you're using the same login for both, like Fiat Lux suggests. If you are, that can confuse the program because then you're essentially two roles on the account. Not to worry, our support team can help with sorting this out.
Even if what I've mentioned isn't the case, I recommend working with our support team anyway so that we can get a better sense of what's going on and how your accesses to each are set up. That way, we can determine the best way to get you back on track with the account you want as quickly as possible. There are a few ways to reach us, so feel free to choose whichever you'd like.
Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Support hours are from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET.
Give us a shout as soon as you have a moment. We're here to help!
