I have Quickbooks online. I get 502 bad gateway message when I sign in using desktop app. I can sign in when using a browser but prefer the app instead. What to do?

The 504 Gateway Timeout error is an HTTP status code means that one server did not receive a timely response from another server that it was accessing while attempting to load the web page. This usually occurs when one of the two servers is down or not working properly.

 

To fix this error, you need to clear cache on the QuickBooks app. Here’s how:

  1.     Go to Help at the top corner of the screen.
  2.     Choose Reset App Data.
