I thought I had a 3 month free trial, but seemed to have been charged?

Hello thestrandcochran,

Staying on top of your billing is the best practice for making sure your books are balanced and so you know what you're paying for. I can explain the trial and subscription options for QuickBooks Online to give you a better idea of what's happened.

When you're considering making a new account, QuickBooks Online currently gives you two options: a 30-day free trial or a 3-month discount. In order to access the free trial option, you'd have to toggle the switch on the Plans & Pricing page, which would change the options on the plans from the green Buy Now button to a dark grey Try it free option.

If you hit Buy Now and put in your payment information, this is why you're seeing the charges to your account. The free trial doesn't require you to enter payment details at this time. If you didn't enter payment details and you're still being charged, it may be you have a duplicate account hidden somewhere. Don't worry, our agents can help you find it.

Choose from one of the following options to reach a support agent. Community is a public forum and we'll need account details to look up your billing. To help protect your information, it's best you contact our secure support lines.
