It's vital that you have the correct subscription associated with the right account in order to be able to see your data. Quickbooks Online is great to be able to keep track of your books from anywhere with an internet connection. I can provide some information about subscribing after a trial.
If you've subscribed from our Plans and prices page, this creates a new account that has no transactions in it. In order to subscribe to the trial, you'd need to log in to that specific account and subscribe from within the settings. I can provide some steps to accomplish this:
Once this is complete, you'll be able to use the company with your data in it. To cancel the company that doesn't have your data, you can follow these steps to cancel.

The account that has all the information in it, doesn't have a billing/subscription option
Login as Primary Admin and you should find the Billing and Subscription menu. Another option, open a new blank QBO account with the discounted rate.

then utilize the Copy tool to duplicate data between QBO accounts.
